Lakeland Tigers Drop 7-5 Decision to Red Sox
Despite a home run and late RBI double from shortstop Tony Giarratano, the
Lakeland Tigers could not overcome a four-run fourth inning from the Sarasota
Red Sox in a 7-5 loss Saturday.
Giarratano, who had two RBIs, is now batting .377.
First baseman Jody Roughton added two hits for the Tigers.
Sarasota's Jon Papelbon improved his record to 9-5, giving up two hits over five
innings.
