Jaxx finally fall - winning streak ends at 10

  • At the plate: Aron Weston had three hits and Josh Arteaga, Mike Mallory and Geovany Soto all hit doubles for the Jaxx. Mallory had two RBIs. The Montgomery offense lit up the Jaxx pitching for 17 hits.

     

  • On the mound: Sean Marshall's first outing with the Jaxx was a quick one. He gave up six earned runs in three innings of work. Jared Blasdell had a rough day, too, giving up four runs in three innings.

     

  • Noteworthy: The Jaxx ten-game winning streak is finally over. The Southern League record for consecutive wins is 16 by Montgomery from July 3 to July 26, 1968.
