• Sarasota lost 2-0 to St. Lucie in a 19-inning marathon. Sarasota pitchers Jon Lester, Jose Vaquedano, Brian Marshall, Justin Sturge, Willy Corporan and Kevin Ool tossed 18 shutout innings and held the Mets to seven hits, but lefthander Joe Rogers allowed two runs on two hits and two walks in the 19th. The Red Sox managed 12 hits without scoring in the game, which took almost five hours to complete.
