Among the former Cubs expected to attend are Glenn Beckert, Bill Buckner, Jose Cardenal, Fergie Jenkins, Dave Kingman, Bill Madlock, Andy Pafko, Dwight Smith, Rick Sutcliffe, Steve Trout and Billy Williams. Ex-Cubs Andre Dawson and Lee Smith, recent candidates on the Hall of Fame ballot, also are scheduled to take part in the three-day FanFest.

Current Cubs such as Ryan Dempster, Mark DeRosa, Scott Eyre, Mike Fontenot, Sean Gallagher, Kevin Hart, Rich Hill, Bob Howry, Derrek Lee, Ted Lilly, Sean Marshall, Matt Murton, Felix Pie, Carmen Pignatiello, Jeff Samardzija, Alfonso Soriano, Geovany Soto and Ryan Theriot also are scheduled to attend.

Cubs manager Lou Piniella and his coaching staff will be present, and will conduct a question-and-answer session on Saturday.

The annual FanFest will begin with opening ceremonies at 5 p.m. CT on Friday.
