Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Gordon Beckham hit a game-ending RBI single in the ninth inning, as the White Sox battled back several times in the late innings to edge the Cubs, 8-7, in the latest installment of the Chicago rivalry. Beckham finished the game 2-for-5 with a run scored, as the White Sox overcame three errors -- two by Alexei Ramirez -- to even the set at 1-1 and win for the third time in four games. Scott Podsednik had his second four-hit game of the year, including a solo homer, and drove in three runs in the win. Mark Buehrle allowed five runs -- three earned -- on six hits and three walks in 5 2/3 innings, and Bobby Jenks (2-2) received the win after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.
